Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the DewSecure browser extension (for Chrome, Edge, Opera, and Yandex Browser based on the Chromium engine, as well as Firefox and other mainstream browsers based on the Gecko engine), the official website (dewsecure.com), and the associated cloud services (collectively, the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

2. Service Description

DewSecure is a user-side content optimization and security protection engine that helps you reduce malicious redirects, phishing trackers, intrusive pop-ups, and disruptive content through local DNR rules, on-device AI inference, DOM sanitization, and network request interception.

The Service is not a silver bullet: due to technical limitations such as platform lockdown, ads served from the same origin as content, and dynamic evasion techniques, we cannot guarantee 100% blocking of all ads and trackers across all platforms. See Section 6 for specific boundaries.

3. Accounts and Subscriptions

Free tier: basic DNR rules, daily basic protection.

Pro tier: USD 11.99 per year, 3 devices, full rule set with AI-powered detection.

Family tier: USD 29.99 per year, 9 devices, with family member invitations.

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe; the subscription takes effect upon successful payment.

Within a family group, sub-accounts are not billed separately, and their entitlements fully follow the remaining time of the primary account. When the primary account removes a member or dissolves the family group, the sub-account is automatically downgraded to Free.

4. Auto-Renewal and Cancellation

Subscriptions are auto-renewed by default; Stripe will attempt to charge before the expiration date.

You may click "Cancel Subscription" in the Dashboard at any time. After cancellation, your entitlements for the current period remain unaffected, and you will be automatically downgraded upon expiration; no pro-rata refund is provided.

If you wish to resume auto-renewal before expiration, you can do so via the "Resume Auto-Renewal" action in the Dashboard.

5. 14-Day Refund Policy

Within 14 days of your first purchase of the Pro or Family tier, you may request a no-questions-asked full refund.

Refunds can be submitted via the "Request Refund" button in your Dashboard, which will automatically initiate the Stripe refund process. If the button is unavailable or in special circumstances, you may also contact the operator manually at dewsecure9@gmail.com.

Referral credit and refund linkage: the 120-day Pro reward earned for inviting a friend is formally issued only after the friend passes the 14-day refund window. If the friend requests a refund within 14 days, the reward is voided.

6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

6.1 Technical Boundaries

The Service runs on browser extensions and on-device AI models, subject to platform permissions, network architecture, and dynamic evasion techniques. We make no guarantees regarding: YouTube app-specific ads, ads served from the same origin as content, novel evasion techniques that may emerge, or security vulnerabilities of third-party websites themselves.

6.2 Provided "As Is"

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no express or implied warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully fit for a particular purpose.

6.3 Liability Cap

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DewSecure and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service. The total direct damages shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer or decompile the extension, or attempt to bypass subscription verification, device fingerprint locks, or referral risk controls; use automated means to mass-register accounts to obtain trials or referral rewards; resell or share accounts or subscription entitlements with third parties outside your family group; use the Service for illegal activities or to interfere with others' normal network use.

Violation of the above may result in account suspension or termination, with no refund of paid fees.

8. Intellectual Property

The extension's underlying engine is open-sourced under GPL-3.0; you may use, modify, and distribute it under the license terms.

AI model weights, cloud authentication gateway, rule compilation pipeline, website code, and brand identity are proprietary closed-source assets and may not be copied, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.

The "DewSecure" name and icon are trademarks of the operator and may not be used to imply endorsement without permission.

9. Service Changes and Termination

We may update, adjust, or discontinue certain features. Material changes will be announced on the official website in advance.

You may stop using the Service and uninstall the extension at any time; account deletion requests can be submitted via the Dashboard or at dewsecure9@gmail.com.

If we have reasonable grounds to believe that you have materially violated these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your access to the account.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's place of operation, without affecting the mandatory consumer protection rights in your jurisdiction. Disputes shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, they shall be submitted to the competent court at the operator's place of operation.

11. Language Versions

These Terms are provided in multiple languages. In the event of any ambiguity or conflict between language versions, the English version shall prevail.
